About the role
As member of an established Commercial and Corporate team you will have experience with the Corporations Act, Australian Consumer Law, the PPSR regime, sale of businesses, share sale agreements with earn-out arrangements, complex shareholder agreements, partnership of trusts, employee share plans, company secretarial work and drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.

The ideal candidate
Our client is seeking an experienced & passionate Commercial Lawyer at Associate/Senior Associate level with the following attributes:

• Circa 3-5 years post admission commercial law experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Corporations Act and the ACL
• A self-starter with a friendly, pro-active team approach
• Excellent communication skills and a strong client service focus
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise to manage competing priorities & timelines
• Able & willing to share your expertise/mentor less experienced colleagues
• A keen sense of commerciality
• An interest in business development and marketing

**While this role is intended to be full-time, our client is open to considering part-time arrangements for candidates returning to the workforce or seeking greater flexibility**
