Clarke Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Projects Lawyer to join our commercial and legal team. This role provides advice across contracts, construction project deliverables, tender responses, contractual negotiations and supplier contracts.
As the Senior Projects Lawyer, you will play a key role in supporting the legal and commercial success of major projects across the business. Your work will support value creation for Clarke Energy while identifying and minimising risk across our operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Advising on key EPC agreements & supplier agreements, negotiation, drafting and review of construction and supply contracts, including running tender processes and analysing tender responses;
• Working closely with project managers to understand project issues, assess risks and determine when contractual notices or interventions are required;
• Settling contractual notices including variations, extensions of time, delays and disputes as projects progress;
• Establishing and maintaining project registers for variations, delays, EOT’s and disputes; and
• Providing oversight and support for procurement processes involving subcontractors, equipment, materials and services.
What You’ll Bring:
Previous experience in similar role / position
Tertiary qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5-8 years professional legal experience.
