We are committed to the pursuit of social justice. We are currently seeking a Solicitor or Associate join our dedicated and experienced Brisbane CBD team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Responsibilities

• Competently assist/manage and progress a volume of Personal Injury matters, including but not limited to mainly TPD, WorkCover and/or CTP claims.
• Draft legal documents in a concise and effective manner.
• Interpret legal advice to each client's particular case to suit their level of understanding.
• Be commercially responsible and fiscally aware in relation to running files.
• Effectively assess claims including liability and quantum.
• Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations.
• Take an active role in working with and mentoring junior staff.

The Skills

• Pre or post-admission experience resolving plaintiff or defendant personal injury claims will make your application competitive.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task, across multiple stakeholders
• Experience drafting legal documentation with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong relationship building skills and experience working in a team
• Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy
