The Role

Working closely with an experienced partner, you will handle a broad range of commercial matters, including:

• Business sales & acquisitions – advising on share and asset sales, due diligence, structuring, and contract negotiations.
• Franchising – acting for franchisors and franchisees on compliance, agreements, and dispute resolution.
• Commercial leasing – advising landlords and tenants on retail, industrial, and office leases.
• Shareholder & partnership agreements – structuring and negotiating agreements for SMEs and professional services firms.
• Supply, distribution & licensing agreements – drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for various industries.
• Corporate governance & regulatory compliance – advising on directors’ duties, ASIC compliance, and Corporations Act matters.
• General business advisory – advising on structuring, risk management, and commercial negotiations.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

✅ 2-8+ years PAE in corporate/commercial or commercial/property law
✅ Strong drafting and negotiation skills
✅ Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
✅ The ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team
