HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a respected Gold Coast law firm to recruit a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5+ years post-admission experience).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to take on a leading role within a well-regarded litigation and dispute resolution team in a mid-sized firm known for its client-centred approach and long-standing presence in the Gold Coast community.
The Role:
As a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will:
- Take carriage of a broad range of commercial dispute matters, including contractual, corporate, insolvency, and building and construction disputes
- Draft and settle complex court documents, affidavits, submissions, and settlement proposals
- Develop case strategy, providing high-level legal analysis, risk assessment, and commercially focused advice
- Lead mediations, negotiations, contested hearings, and maintain direct client relationships
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with Partners on complex and high-value matters.
You will be responsible for managing matters from instruction through to resolution, with a high degree of autonomy and strategic input across both litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.

About You:
- Minimum 5+ years post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Proven ability to independently manage a litigation file load and run matters end-to-end
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Sound commercial judgement and ability to provide strategic, client-focused advice
- Confidence in client relationship management and business development
- A collaborative approach with demonstrated mentoring or leadership capability
