Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a national law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their team based in Brisbane.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Creating and negotiating securities and facilities agreements
• Using your legal and technical knowledge to create a business solution and promptly advising clients when problems emerge during a deal
• Performing due diligence, which include examining leases, presale contracts, and custom agreements and creating side agreements when needed
• Working together with our construction team to give clients with building contract guidance
• Working closely with our team's Restructuring and Insolvency sub-group regarding the guidance customers need to handle early defaults
• Settlement on PEXA or, if required, on paper

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Must have worked as a banking and finance lawyer for one to three PQE years
• Proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Be a cooperative team member who values the chance to advance professionally and exercise initiative.
• Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish rapport with clients, coworkers, and other stakeholders in a timely manner.
• A track record of effectively managing deadlines and proactively setting team priorities.
