an established National Law firm in Melbourne is looking for a Senior Associate with a wealth of exposure to competition and consumer law matters, driven to provide the highest standard of service for domestic and global commercial clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 Years PQE, with extensive exposure to Competition and Consumer Law matters.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen.
• Excellent academic achievements.
• Attention to detail - Proficient research, analytical and drafting skills.
• Driven and motivated to work on the novel, high-profile, and complex matters often seen through by this firm.

Your Responsibilities:

• Aid in investigations into anti-competitive conduct, misuse of market power and Australian consumer-law contraventions.
• Become involved and develop your understanding and capability in handling economic regulation, licensing, network access and price control matters.
• Help provide advice to domestic and global clients on competition and consumer law relating to matters regarding merger clearances across multi-jurisdictional transactions
• Gain exposure to regulatory and energy networks.
• You will be involved in dispute resolution and litigation surrounding competition and consumer law for corporate clients and the ACCC.
