Our client is a long-established, highly regarded legal practice with multiple offices across South East Queensland. With a strong reputation for practical advice and down-to-earth client service, our client has built a collaborative, team-first culture where lawyers are supported to grow, specialise, and enjoy sustainable workloads.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for Senior lawyers to join our clients' team across several office locations!
About the Position:
This is a rare chance to step into a busy and expanding practice with the flexibility to align your role to your strengths. Whether you’re building your foundation as a junior lawyer or you’re ready to lead matters and mentor others, our client can tailor the scope to suit.
Work may include matters across:
- Wills & Estates (estate planning, probate, disputes)
- Family Law (parenting, property settlements, negotiations)
- Criminal Law (court appearances, pleas, advocacy)
- Property & Business (conveyancing support/oversight, commercial matters)
- Commercial Litigation (disputes, debt recovery, contract issues)
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising clients clearly and confidently from first contact to resolution
- Drafting and reviewing court documents, agreements, and correspondence
- Conducting legal research and preparing matter strategies
- Attending mediations, negotiations, and court appearances (as relevant)
- Collaborating with colleagues on complex files and peak periods
- Contributing to business development through relationship-building and referrals
- Current Queensland practising certificate
- Relevant PAE (open to all Senior levels; scope set to match capability)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial approach to client service and file management
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
- A genuine commitment to developing your practice and skills
